DMDK protest against govt

A state-wide protest was organised on Sunday by the DMDK women's wing to protest against the power crisis and the price rise which had affected the common people the most.

DMDK chief Vijayakanth's wife Premalatha took part in the protest demonstration organised by the party in the city.

Anti-government slogans were raised by the women cadres of the DMDK during the protest rallies organised across districts in Tamilnadu as part of the state-wide agitation.

Premalatha took part and spoke during the agitation in front of the Collectorate office in Chennai.

Protest rallies and demonstrations were held by the DMDK in Villupuram, Perambalur, Vellore, Thiruvallur, Thiruvannamalai and other districts in front of their District Collectorate offices with women functionaries taking part in large number.
