All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam leader J Jayalalithaa is all set to formally announce a tie-up with Vijayakanth’s Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam. The AIADMK already has the Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam and the Left parties. Vijayakanth’s brother-inlaw and the DMDK’s youth wing secretary LK Sudhish has been holding talks with AIADMK leaders through some mediators. AIADMK is likely to part with about 35 to 40 seats which will make the DMDK the second largest partner in the alliance. Since its inception in September 2005, this would be the first electoral alliance for the DMDK.
