Donated Rs 2 lakhs to Defence Personal Children Education every year.
Donated Rs.5 Lakhs to Kargil Relief fund.
Donated Rs.10 Lakhs to Kumbakonam school`s fire accident.
Donated Rs.10 Lakhs to Tsunami Relief.
Vijayakanth served as the President of Nadigar Sangam before entering politics and was instrumental in holding star nite shows in Dubai and Malaysia. He bailed out Nadigar Sangam from huge debts during his tenure.
